Monarch Trauma Recovery Program

After an injury or traumatic event, many individuals experience emotional and neurological stress responses. These reactions are common and often occur even when physical injuries are beginning to heal.
Trauma can affect the nervous system in ways that impact:
Many people attempt to push through these symptoms without realizing they are normal trauma responses.
Trauma-informed counseling helps individuals safely process these experiences and restore a sense of stability and control.

Clients often report symptoms such as:
These responses are very common after accidents, injuries, and other unexpected events.
With appropriate treatment, many individuals experience meaningful improvement.

Monarch Trauma Recovery Program focuses on stabilizing the nervous system and helping individuals process traumatic experiences in a safe and structured way.
Approaches may include:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
• Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
• Nervous System Regulation Techniques
Treatment is individualized based on each client’s needs and symptoms.
Many individuals experience noticeable improvement within 4–10 sessions.
Following a traumatic event, many individuals experience physiological and psychological stress responses that extend beyond the initial injury. These responses are often related to how the nervous system processes threat and survival.
Even when physical injuries begin to heal, the nervous system may remain in a heightened state of alert. This can affect a client’s ability to concentrate, sleep, regulate emotions, or feel safe in everyday situations.
Common trauma responses may include:
• heightened anxiety or panic
• hypervigilance or feeling constantly “on edge”
• intrusive memories or reminders of the event
• sleep disruption or nightmares
• irritability or emotional overwhelm
• avoidance of situations associated with the event
• difficulty concentrating or completing routine tasks
These reactions are well-documented responses to trauma and do not necessarily indicate long-term psychological injury. In many cases, structured trauma-informed counseling can help the nervous system regulate and support recovery.
Providing access to appropriate support can help clients regain a sense of stability and improve their overall functioning during the recovery process.
We provide HIIPA compliant communications with attorneys regarding attendance and treatment progress to ensure our client has all the support they need for their case.

Lien-based therapy means that psychotherapy services are provided as part of an active personal injury claim, with payment coordinated through the legal case rather than billed to insurance or paid upfront by the client.
Treatment duration varies depending on the individual and the severity of symptoms. Many clients experience meaningful improvement within approximately 4–10 sessions, though this can vary.
Clients may begin by completing our brief Anxiety and Trauma Assessment (found above), which helps identify whether symptoms related to anxiety or trauma may be present.
After the screening, individuals will be contacted to schedule a consultation to determine whether counseling may be beneficial.
No. Lien-based services are offered when clinically appropriate and when treatment is directly related to the injury involved in the legal claim. All lien arrangements must be reviewed and approved prior to beginning services. You can start the process by filling out the form on this page
Lien-based cases often require additional documentation, coordination with attorneys, and adherence to legal timelines. Because of this, rates and policies differ from standard insurance-based or self-pay therapy
No. Lien-based services are not billed to insurance. Fees are handled according to the lien agreement and related policies.
